Mother’s Day In Cape Cod

Confession, I’m not really that big into celebrating random holidays. Like mother’s day for instance. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s so beautiful to honor mothers because, ummm, we do EVERYTHING and are literally the reason for the human race continuing. And because of that, mothers should be honored ALL the time, not just one day. But I digress.

My parents have a time share down the Cape that we have been going to since I was a little girl and my mom decided to gift us a weekend there. Despite the weather not being favorable, it was really cute to see my daughters enjoy a place I use to go to every summer in my childhood, and it was nice to get away for a bit. On actual mother’s day we all went out to brunch including my sister and parents. I will say that since moving back, it has been nice to see my daughters develop a relationship with my parents. We ate, we swam (indoors), we played at the arcade and I left pooped while my kids were filled. Doesn’t that sound like a mother? lol
